With a focus on advancing sustainable technology and delivering cutting-edge solutions to global challenges, we are currently seeking an Electro Mechanical Design Engineer to join our High-Tech Team and contribute to the development of innovative high-tech systems.

What you’ll be doing as an Electro Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Specifying, designing (3D and 2D), documenting, and maintaining mechanical requirements of various electrical and electromechanical modules in line with international standards on electrical safety and EMC.
• Generating and discussing volume files with other departments.
• Conducting impact analysis and implementing engineering changes into products.
• Maintaining high-quality levels by organizing reviews of your own work and participating in reviews from other designers.
• Making a personal work breakdown and planning as part of a project.
• Operating in a multidisciplinary team, representing the electrical team in several multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Defining and managing the configuration of Technical Product Documentation.
• Acting as the key Electro Mechanical Engineer contact person.
• Designing racks and generating Technical Product Documentation for racks, boards, etc.

What you need to be successful as an Electro Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an electro-mechanical designer, including experience with multidisciplinary module design (e.g., wiring harnesses and sheet metal).
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD design of complex products, preferably with experience in Siemens NX. Technical knowledge of mechanical concepts, wiring concepts, and connectivity concepts.
• Personal Attributes: A highly motivated team player with excellent social and communication skills. Accuracy, systematic approach, problem-solving, pragmatic hands-on attitude, responsibility, discipline, quality focus, consistency, and ownership.
• Adaptability: Ability to remain flexible and learn quickly in dynamic environments.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team and convey technical concepts clearly. Good knowledge of English language (speaking & writing) and preferably also Dutch.
