NX Designer

An NX Designer job in Rochester, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. This is a contract position, developing CAD surfacing to create prototype fiberglass parts, drape forms, foam and wood models.  You will also design mechanisms or framework for prototype builds.

Pay:  $30 - $40/hr

NX Designer job responsibilities are:

·       CAD Part Design

·       Create innovative design concepts & complete product designs in 3D & drawing release per engineering direction

·       Tooling Design

·       Responsible for designing tooling molds/fixtures for prototype manufacturing

·       Create run-off surface for milling

·       Drawing release

Qualifications:

·       Experienced NX CAD Designer

·       Experience with surface modeling, B-side design & mold/die/fixture design

·       Minimum of 5 years experience

·       General knowledge of automotive engineering standards
