    Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a contract job with a client in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have a good background in Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot, along with extensive experience in DevOps practices and tools.

     

    Rate Range: $53/hour to $68.18/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Work on a high-impact banking project, ensuring robust and secure deployment practices.

    • Good knowledge on Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

    • Create and manage continuous integration pipelines in GitLab.

    • Integrate Veracode and Qualys security tools into DevOps pipelines to ensure code security and compliance.

    • Deploy applications using AWS ECS and Lambda.

    • Utilize AWS Secret Manager and other AWS tools for secure and efficient application management.

    • Build and manage environments using Terraform and Ansible.

    • Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks for automated infrastructure provisioning.

    • Implement and manage Docker containers for application deployment and scaling.

    • Leverage additional DevOps tools and practices to deliver solutions and resolve issues efficiently.

    • Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to continuously improve our processes.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 6-10 years in DevOps, with a strong focus on Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot, DevOps, IaC(Ansible, Terraform)

    • Proficiency in GitLab for CI/CD pipeline creation.

    • Experience with Veracode and Qualys for security integration.

    • Strong knowledge of AWS ECS, Lambda, and AWS Secret Manager.

    • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.

    • Expertise in Docker for containerization.

    • Familiarity with other DevOps tools and practices.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.18 per hour
