Development Quality Engineer II

Akkodis is seeking a Development Quality Engineer II for a Contract job with a client in St Paul, MN. The candidate is responsible for supporting quality disciplines and ensuring the on-time completion of design control deliverables.

 

Rate Range: $34/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Development Quality Engineer II job responsibilities include:

• Leading or participating in quality control efforts to ensure timely completion of design control deliverables and quality plans for product development and design change projects.

• Generating design verification test plans and reports to ensure product/system requirements are met.

• Leading or supporting risk management activities from product to commercialization, including generating risk management plans, performing hazard analysis, and conducting FMECA and Cybersecurity risk assessments.

• Working closely with design engineering teams to complete customer/system/product requirements and ensuring product verification and validation.

• Ensuring design history file (DHF) integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing labeling verification activities.

• Supporting the implementation of process control systems and continuous improvement efforts to resolve quality issues and meet internal and external requirements.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

• 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in medical device development.

• Proficiency with NCMRS (Non-Conformance Management Report Systems) and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

• Experience in process validation and supporting operations quality design in a product development environment.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $36.00 per hour
