    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract job with a client in Columbus, OH (Hybrid). The ideal candidates must have strong hands-on experience in Front End Development, particularly with Next.js and React.

     

    Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Designing and developing scalable, responsive web applications using Next.js, React, and Node.js.

    • Implementing and optimizing web performance, SEO, and security features for Next.js applications.

    • Writing robust, maintainable, and efficient code for both server-side rendering and static site generation.

    • Collaborating with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and ensuring seamless cross-platform experiences.

    • Participating in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

    • Troubleshooting and debugging application issues to maintain performance and reliability.

    • Optimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.

    • Working with DevOps tools and processes, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Git, to support deployment and version control.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Front End Development with expertise in Next.js, React, and related web technologies.

    • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) and JS frameworks like jQuery.

    • Experience with web performance optimization, SEO, and security best practices for web applications, along with familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Rollup, and Git.

    Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
