    Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Clearwater, FL(Hybrid). You will manage ticket queues, ensure timely resolution of service requests, and coordinate with vendors and support teams for hardware and software issues.

     

    Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Desktop Support Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software applications.

    • Provide technical support for operating systems (Windows 10/11, Android, macOS), MS Office, network configurations, and Wi-Fi.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, applications, printers, and network connectivity.

    • Manage and resolve service tickets within defined service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely responses and resolution.

    • Support and configure printers, including driver installations and coordination with vendors for repairs and setup.

    • Develop and maintain technical documentation for installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

    • Coordinate with vendors and Level 3 support teams for hardware repairs, warranty replacements, and system enhancements.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in desktop support, IT support, or a related technical role.

    • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Mac OS, MS Office, Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts.

    Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
