    Akkodis is seeking an Appian developer for a Contract job with a client in McLean, VA(Hybrid). Responsible for designing and developing Appian-based solutions, integrating with third-party systems, and leading sprint ceremonies and client interactions.

     

    Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Appian developer job responsibilities include:

    • Gather and analyze business requirements to design scalable Appian BPM solutions.

    • Develop, test, and deploy applications using the Appian platform, adhering to best practices and project standards.

    • Design data models and integrate Appian with third-party systems through APIs or middleware.

    • Prepare high-level technical specifications and perform frequent code reviews to ensure quality and performance.

    • Lead sprint ceremonies, present solution demos to clients, and serve as the main point of contact for technical discussions.

    • Support Appian application deployments and oversee infrastructure setup for on-premises projects.

    • Provide ongoing production support and mentor development team members to elevate delivery standards.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Appian development with strong proficiency in Java.

    • Must have hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions using Appian BPM, including integrations with third-party systems.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead sprint ceremonies, interact with clients, and present technical demos effectively.

    Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
