Senior Business Architect

The Client is seeking a Senior Business Architect to lead enterprise architecture planning and development across complex government initiatives. This role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and business modeling expertise.

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables aligned with Ontario Government standards.

·         Proficiency in frameworks such as TOGAF or the Zachman Framework.

·         In-depth knowledge of business operations within public sector environments.

·         Strong understanding of data modeling techniques including ERDs and data flow diagrams.

Responsibilities:

·         The Senior Business Architect will guide the creation of architecture artifacts supporting technology, security, and business solutions. They will engage stakeholders through workshops, model business capabilities, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership in large-scale IT initiatives, excels in communication and change management, and brings a track record of mitigating risks and aligning IT solutions with business needs.
